Orders are shipped from the Gold Coast, Australia.
Our main priority is to ship out our customer orders as quick as possible, please see below shipping and delivery guides. Due to high volumes of orders it can take time to receive your delivery, be assured we will always do our best to get your delivery to you ASAP, thank you for your patience and understanding.
Wedding Garter products are not held in stock for same day dispatch.
All wedding garter products are custom made to order items and require time to manufacture as set out below -
Standard Parcel Post - Is shipped with 3-5 business days of purchase.
Standard Express Post - Is shipped within 2-3 business days, please note orders placed after business hours, weekends or public holidays will be processed in normal business hours, please keep this this in mind when you are selecting postage.
All packages are sent via a trackable form of post, to ensure your order arrives safely.
If you require your Express Post order urgently please leave a note on the checkout page, with the date you require your item by, we will do our best to accelerate your order.
After you order is dispatched -
Standard Parcel Post - Deliveries typically take 3-7 Business Days within the postal system.
Standard Express Post - Deliveries typically take 2-3 business days for delivery within local and city areas, regional deliveries and WA can take an additional 2-3 days, due to ongoing COVID related delays, Australia Post next day delivery guarantee is still suspended.
Items that are referred to as “Backorder” will be shipped as soon as we have the item/s back in stock, orders that contain a backorder item/s will be shipped together in one shipment once all items are available. If you would like split deliveries please contact us for additional shipping charges that may apply.
-Free shipping on all orders over $100 is available for orders shipped within Australia with a tracking number.
-Orders under $100 have a flat rate shipping charge of $10 for standard parcel post with a tracking number.
-Express Post within Australia is a $15.00 shipping charge with a tracking number.
-When on promo free gift is included with all orders over $200 AU, this does not include shipping charges.
Please ensure you provide your full details and correct address when placing your order, we are not responsible for miss deliveries or return to sender due to incorrect and incomplete address/contact details.
After we have shipped your order, you will receive a shipping notification email which will include your tracking number and shipping carrier so you can track your parcels progress. Please remember to check your email junk folder, sometimes certain email accounts will flag emails as spam depending on your personal email settings.
Please note - The delivery time frames given are estimates provided by Australia Post, we have no control over delays within the postal service which can happen from time to time, please ensure you allow an adequate amount of time to receive your parcel for your event to avoid any disappointment, we do not offer guarantees on delivery time frames. Public holidays will affect deliveries and may cause delays within Australia Post.
generally range from 1-4 weeks for delivery, however this can not be guaranteed. All purchases are sent with a tracking number and require a signature on delivery, if you are not home a card will be left in your letter box for collection at your local post office. The buyer is responsible for all customs and duty charges. Please note that we do not have any control over Customs fees and Duties, you will need to contact your local Customs Office for charges. Packages can be held at your local Customs Offices for days or weeks before the customs notice is sent out to you. We do not have any control over customs and regulations in your country. Please check with your local Customs Offices if you don't receive your package in normal delivery time as listed below to avoid any delay with your package.
We ship with Australia Post but once it has left the country we are unable to assist with any international customs issues, please contact us if you have not received the order within 4 WEEKS of it's shipping date and we will follow up as to where your parcel is with the postal service.
International shipments start at a $25.00 shipping charge which includes a tracking number, please enter your address in at the checkout for current shipping charges to your Country. If you are unsure of shipping time frames to your country, please email us for more information. If you require a urgent shipment, please contact us for express post charges.
While this is a very rare occurrence, it does happen from time to time. We take all the necessary steps to ensure your parcel arrives safely and without issues, however once it leaves our warehouse it is out of our hands and in the care of the postal service. In the event your parcel is classified as missing after a postal service investigation we will happily replace your order at no extra charge.
Returns & Replacements
What if it you change your mind, it doesn't fit, you don't love the style or the product is faulty? Don't worry! We have a no hassle returns and exchange guarantee when it comes to customer satisfaction on products purchased from The Wedding Garter. If you are not happy with your purchase - at any time, we will gladly exchange it for a different size or style or offer a store credit, it is your choice. Just fill out the returns form and ship it back to our returns address. This excludes Gift Cards.
To make the process faster, if you have an exchange item in mind, please email us at email@example.com to have your item set aside for you pending the return item, once we receive the return item we will issue a gift card enabling you to place a new order for your exchange item, or a credit note for a purchase at a later time.
We do not offer refunds for wrong selection or change of mind purchases. We offer a 30 Day No Hassle Exchange or Store Credit provided that the exchange/returned garment meets the conditions as set out in the below:
- Any labels are still attached to the product.-
Products are returned in the original undamaged box/packaging.
- The lingerie product has not been worn (except to try on for size)
- Earring products have not been used or worn in the ears.
- Hair pieces have not been worn/used.
- The product has not been damaged or soiled.
- The product is free from perfume or fake tan.
- The product has not been altered by you in any way
.- The product is accompanied by the original invoice.
- We do not accept returns for pantyhose, stockings and stocking type bodysuits.
- Any free gifts included with the order are returned
- Shipping charges are not refundable or redeemable
- Custom made items are not exchangeable
- The Wedding Garter is not responsible for missing or lost return items.
Please remember to wear a liner when trying on your lingerie bottom or an outfit that has a panty bottom. We trust that most people are honest and will take the time to try on lingerie carefully. For faulty products, we offer a 7 day replacement or refund warranty, from the date you receive your product in the mail. If your product is delivered faulty or damaged, it will be replaced with an identical product. If we cannot replace the product, we will offer you the option of choosing another product of the same value, or provide you with a refund for the total value of the faulty product.
If for some reason you experience any problems with durability, quality and general wear of your goods after this time, please contact us we are happy to help.
Please choose carefully we do not offer refunds for wrong selection of style, size or change of mind purchases. Exchanges or refunds on products that are faulty or you have been sent the wrong item will only be accepted within 7 days of receiving your purchase in the mail, please contact us prior to returning the item/s for a returns authorisation number, return orders without a returns authorisation number will not be processed.
Please return your item/s that qualify in the set out below within 7 days of receiving your parcel in the mail, along with your authorisation number.
Exchanges and refunds will only be excepted if the item:
• Does not fit the description given at purchase (eg - Style or fabric)
• You have been posted the wrong item
• The Item is faulty.
Additionally that you have read and complied with our general returns policy stated above.
Please return and include any free gifts that were sent with your order.

When returning your product, please make sure you provide the following details:
- Your full name
- Your order number
- Reason why you are returning the product-
- Your instructions informing us of your preference for the return - Exchange or credit note.

Including the original order confirmation or invoice you received with your product makes the returns process a lot faster. Also, if you haven't previously provided a contact phone number, please include this with your return. This will help us to quickly resolve the issue, should we need to contact you.
Please note: Standard postage fees apply to all return orders and exchanges.
Where the return relates to a faulty item or we have sent you the wrong item, the shipping charges will be ammended/refunded on return of the item/s, the replacement product will be sent out to you, at no charge, within 7 working days from the date we receive the product back in the mail. Refunds can take up to 10 business days to process and to show on your banking statement.
